Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions of use of the mobile application Weapon Forge (Korean title: 무기강화; the "Service") provided by Vibeline (Business Registration No.: 895-01-03886; the "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means Weapon Forge, a single-player offline game in which the player upgrades and sells weapons in order to defeat a boss within a time limit.
- "User" means any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms. Weapon Forge is used without any separate sign-up.
- "Gameplay data" means progress information stored only in the internal storage of the user's device, such as unlocked stages, best records, number of clears, accumulated gold, and language and sound settings.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of These Terms)
- These Terms take effect when posted on a screen within the Service or on a web page operated by the Company.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws. Any amendment will be announced in advance, stating the effective date and the reason for the change. Where an amendment is unfavorable to users, notice will be given at least 30 days in advance.
Article 4 (Contents of the Service)
- The Company provides single-player gameplay consisting of weapon upgrading, weapon selling, and boss battles, together with stage progression features.
- The Service operates offline. Neither a network connection nor a member account is required in order to play. The Company does not operate user accounts or servers for this Service.
- Gameplay data is stored only in the internal storage of the user's device. Gameplay data cannot be recovered if the user changes devices, uninstalls the app, or resets the device.
- The Company may add to, change, or discontinue part of the game content, difficulty, or features in order to improve the quality of the Service.
Article 5 (Paid Services and Advertising)
- The Service is currently provided free of charge and contains no paid transactions (in-app purchases) and no advertising.
- If the Company introduces paid services or advertising in the future, it will amend these Terms and the Privacy Policy and give notice before doing so, and will follow the procedures required by applicable laws.
- Where paid services are introduced, payment, refunds, and withdrawal of subscription will follow the policies and procedures of each app marketplace (Apple App Store, Google Play), and the Company will not directly collect or store users' payment method information.
Article 6 (Users' Obligations)
Users must not engage in the following acts.
- Reverse engineering, reproducing, or modifying the Service, or manipulating gameplay data in order to bypass normal progression
- Accessing the Service by abnormal means, such as automation tools or the exploitation of vulnerabilities
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
- Infringing the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
- Violating applicable laws or these Terms
Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)
- Intellectual property rights in the Service and in the content it contains (graphics, sound, game rules, programs, and the like; assets provided under an open license are governed by that license) belong to the Company or to the rightful holder.
- Users may not commercially exploit information obtained through the Service, or allow a third party to do so, without the Company's prior consent.
Article 8 (Change and Suspension of the Service)
- The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service where operationally or technically necessary, and will give advance notice of material changes.
- The Company bears no responsibility where the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, such as a natural disaster or a failure of facilities.
Article 9 (Discontinuing Use and Deleting Gameplay Data)
Because Weapon Forge has no member account, there is no separate withdrawal procedure. Users may discontinue use at any time by uninstalling the app, and uninstalling the app also deletes the gameplay data stored on the device.
Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company bears no responsibility in connection with the Service provided free of charge, absent intent or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
- The Company bears no responsibility for the loss of gameplay data arising from the user's device environment, a change or reset of the device, or uninstallation of the app.
- The Service is provided "as is," and the Company disclaims express and implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute relating to use of the Service shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
